Kickoff is set for 9:00PM Thursday at From Reser Stadium, which stands on the former site of the Atlanta Braves’ Turner Field. ESPNU will broadcast the game live.

Utilizing a diverse array of run schemes, OSU had its best offensive game in multiple seasons during a 36-33 loss to Colorado. The Beavers tallied 569 total yards with a near even split in rushing and passing yardage, headlined by Ryan Nall’s best game of the year. Nall rushed the ball a season-high 24 times for 172 yards and three touchdowns.

The Beavers turned in five consecutive scoring drives to start the game but settled for four field goals, making red zone efficiency a particular practice priority. OSU has scored touchdowns on 59 percent of red zone trips, which ranks ninth in the Pac-12.

Stanford has not been equipped with the same stout defensive front as in past seasons, ranking 98th nationally in rushing yards allowed. But the Cardinal does have some of the best defensive backs in the conference. Safety Justin Reid has five interceptions and cornerback Quenton Meeks is helping lead a defense that has the top turnover margin in the conference. OSU will be without wide receiver Seth Collins (illness), but junior Timmy Hernandez stepped up for a career-high seven catches on Oct. 14.
